Our paper highlighted the transcriptomics of the induced pluripotent stem cells and liver derivatives has been selected as the Editor's choice article. This paper titled "𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗣𝗦 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗹-𝗗𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗰𝘆𝘁𝗲-𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗰𝘆𝘁𝗲𝘀" compares the profile of the cells we use in the TestAVec laboratories to a wide database of cancer cells. Here we have determined through advanced AI modelling the relative naivety of the stem cells and low cancer background of our liver derivatives, more so than that of other liver differentiation protocols. This makes these cells useful for toxicity analysis, especially in genotoxicity outreads.

The TestAVec team thanks the editor for the selection of our paper. Go have a read of the fully open access paper using the link below.
