A member of a Queen's Award winning team and having led research projects and programmes with a combined value of over £10m focusing on the health and healing of people and the environment.  As a Professor of Toxicology for over 25 years,  Susan has investigated the ability of chemicals and pharmaceuticals to influence molecular cell biology, physiology and population biology. Having lost a dear friend to a rare genetic disease, Susan is excited to be leading the team involved in the development and delivery of tools, technologies and approaches with which to bolster confidence in gene therapy products as first line treatments for genetic diseases and delivery to patients in need.
